LTC becomes one of the first UK companies to gain BS EN-15038 standard.
London, 2 November 2010. Today, LTC announced that it has gained certification in the new European quality standard BS EN-15038.
LTC, a leader in providing high value multilingual technology solutions, translation services and product and website localisation services to the global enterprise, is happy to announce that its stringent quality procedures recently received the stamp of approval from the European Committee for Standardization (CEN). Receiving EN-15038 certification gives customers peace of mind that LTC follows processes that guarantee high quality of service. In many areas LTC surpasses the guidelines set forth by the body.
“For twenty years we have had rigorous quality assurance procedures in place that cover and go beyond most official quality standards around today,” explains Dr. Adriane Rinsche, CEO and managing director of LTC. “While our existing clients know that we deliver only the highest quality, we decided that this certification will help communicate our approach to an ever growing and more competitive market.
EN-15038:2006 is a specific European standard for translation services which covers the core translation process and all other related aspects involved in providing the service, including quality assurance and traceability. This standard offers both translation service providers and their clients a description and definition of the entire service. At the same time it is designed to provide translation service providers with a set of procedures and requirements to meet market needs.
